Lumaspect is a small company based in Lugano. We develop AI visual inspection systems and, wherever possible, build them from components available on the market.
We start from a concrete product, Lumaspect Inspect™, for inspecting circuit boards. Alongside the product we offer consulting and custom projects for those who need to check other parts or processes.
Our first market is Swiss and Italian companies that manufacture for the world. We work with them up close, in front of the line; they are the ones who take the solutions to international markets. France, Germany, India and China come next, once we have solid foundations.

Lumaspect was founded by Luca Marrocco. I have been developing software for more than twenty years and using Linux since 1996; I have worked on backend and frontend systems for banks, fintech, blockchain and pharma.
AI changes the tools, but the rules of a system that works every day stay the same: reliable data, clear interfaces, tests, security and maintenance. Lumaspect exists to bring that way of working to visual inspection.
